“the theater is one of the few places left in the bright and noisy world where we sit in the quiet dark together, to be awake.”
Teaching, Directing , & Choreography
As a director, choreographer, and educator I have worked with students ages 5-18 from a diverse set of backgrounds including diverse learners, English language learners, and kids with disabilities. The settings I have taught include day and overnight camps, classes, workshops, full productions, and audition coaching. I specialize in teaching musical theatre dance, modern dance, and acting: including scene study and monologues. Organizations I have worked with and collaborated with as an educator include Children’s Theatre of Western Springs, Elmhurst Children’s Theatre, BAM Theatre, Timothy Christian Middle School, CYT Chicago & Wisconsin, Skyline Children’s Theatre, and Woodlands Academy.
